Meet Kia

About This Journey:

Suddenly Becoming started with a simple idea: if you can picture a version of yourself in your mind, she already exists somewhere.

For a long time, my life looked “right” on paper—school, dream job, a creative business—but I still felt out of sync with the woman I could see in my head. So I started treating every decision as inner work: reading, trying new things, questioning old beliefs, rebuilding my values and boundaries, and taking action even when I felt anxious.

Some of those choices were big, like leaving a job or closing my photography business. Others were small but powerful, like deciding to start running with weak knees and slowly working up to longer distances and my first race. Over time, those decisions changed everything—my mental health, my relationships, my confidence, and how at home I feel in my own femininity.

If you’re here, you probably have your own version of that woman in your mind. My work is to help you make sense of what’s shifting, trust yourself a little more, and make the kind of intentional changes—big and small—that move you toward her. One choice at a time, until you look up and realise you’ve suddenly become that version of you.
